Was sleeved in July, but just wanted to tell you all that you got this. It's going to be rough at first but when those times come just remember that the recovery process is only temporary and when you

October 3rd! I'm nervous! And also excited! Btw, thanks for labeling this thread "2018." There are two other October threads that don't have the year marked, and I really hope some of us stay in

I've started a list to help people find their surgery buddies. This is supposed to just be sleevers, but I bet some others snuck on. It's supposed to be all the October sleevers, but I'm 100% sure I m

The limited edition all red box of sugar free popsicles is my jam.

I bought the sugar free bomb pops (red, white, and blue) on someone's recommendation, and they're OK? But all I really want are the red popsicles. I hope they're lying about this "limited edition" thing.

I’m in Canada and can’t find the sugar free pops ANYWHERE. I must have looked at 20 places or more. I’ve been making my own Mio-popsicles, and they are ok but I would love a real popsicle

Are you anywhere near the border? They are popsicle brand, just get a picture going through my mind AND WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THIS JOURNEY, MA'AM? POPSICLES SIR, SIMPLY POPSICLES!? ROFLMAO?

So, my follow up went well. I had to eat food that I could smash with a fork and flaky fish for the week. I can move on to solid food. I'm nervous because everything I eat or drink makes me burp non stop. I dont know what's going on. This morning I couldn't finish a scrambled egg and beans. I burped so much I ended up throwing up some. This is crazy. I even keep chewable anti gas at the dinner table and one on my nightstand.

Anyone else have this issue? Will it stop?

So turns out I was feeling so awful because I got an abdominal infection from the surgery. It wasn’t a leak, but something got into my system and created an abscess. I spent 2 weeks in the hospital on strong antibiotics, being fed through a tube, but luckily, no corrective surgery was needed.

I’m home now, eating puréed foods and slowly starting more solid foods. I’m feeling so much better. I’m a little over one month post op. Down 33 lbs since I started the preop diet and down 21 lbs since surgery! Feeling great. My BMI has gone from 42 to 34.9 - I am officially, only Obese class 1!

Is anyone having pain on your right side? The pain is horrible it feel like I've been stab or kicked or something. The pain is horrible. I talked to my doctor and he says it normal to have this pain after 3 weeks

I had pain that felt like a pulling inside. Like a pulled muscle.. apparently scar tissue forming or breaking and normal. Not sure if that’s what you have but could be.
PSA!!

Do yourself a favor and buy the Bariatric Advantage vitamin chews and calcium chews. Life changing vitamin experience. They are almost a starburst. I was struggling with everything about my current vitamins. Make sure you can have them at what stage you are on food wise. You can order through their website.

Today I had my 6 week post op appointment and was cleared for all foods except beef and raw veggies!! A good day!

How many weeks out are you? I know a lot of people have difficulty with egg. It goes down for me but it certainly sits different than other foods. I had some hiccups after only a couple of bites of egg white yesterday. Does it happen with all foods or just some of those higher stage foods?

Its happening with everything. I'm 4 weeks out. My surgery was on 17 Oct.
Hi. I am scheduled for December 11, but have a question for you guys who have already been through surgery. How soon before surgery did you stop taking medications such as Celebrex? Were there any other medications that you were required to stop taking prior to surgery? Or get other formula for - liquid? I don’t see my doc for pre-op until 2 weeks out and I don’t want there to be any surprises that might postpone surgery.

My dr had me stop my blood pressure meds two days before surgery. I would think if there was a med he/she wanted you to stop taking before the two week pre op, you’d know. Is there someone in the office you can contact with questions?
