  1. Thanks for that information. I've been on Prilosec since before my surgery and he is keeping me on it. I was confused about the weird feeling. Wondering if I was really hungry or if I was just crazy.
  2. I weigh myself once a week. I try to do wednesdays since that's what day my surgery was on. [emoji6]
  3. Are you walking? My doc told me if it seems like the weight loss is slowing down, look at my exercise and what I've been eating.
  4. Yeah, I'm on Prilosec.
  5. I was told to stop all NSAIDS.
  6. Its happening with everything. I'm 4 weeks out. My surgery was on 17 Oct.
  7. So, my follow up went well. I had to eat food that I could smash with a fork and flaky fish for the week. I can move on to solid food. I'm nervous because everything I eat or drink makes me burp non stop. I dont know what's going on. This morning I couldn't finish a scrambled egg and beans. I burped so much I ended up throwing up some. This is crazy. I even keep chewable anti gas at the dinner table and one on my nightstand. Anyone else have this issue? Will it stop?
  8. Well, I'm having a hard time getting proteins in. I'm used to eating peanut butter, fish, nuts, etc. I hope I can come off this liquid diet at my post op check. I have officially learned what hangry feels like and my family has paid for it. My mom told me to stop yelling at her and that I hurt her feelings. You know it's bad when you snap on your own mom.[emoji36]
  9. Oh my I'm going crazy for real food
  10. I'm still having an hard time drinking enough. I guess I'll just take my spanking at the doctor's office Thursday. [emoji6] I'll be 3 weeks post op tomorrow. Down 16 pounds [emoji7]
  11. Congratulations [emoji4]
  12. Welcome and congratulations [emoji5]
  13. I'm tired of my protein powder so I'm switching to my milk on and off. Bought both from Target.
  14. Try to sip Gatorade or something to keep you electrolytes up. Have you had any protein today? I felt the same way and once I forced a little bit down, I felt a little better. Dont overdo it. Make sure you are resting. [emoji120] [emoji4]
  15. They may have either nipped some vessels or the spleen. I pray that they didn't.
  16. Oh my goodness. That doesn't sound right. I was very nauseous and had really horrible pain after the surgery, but they gave me different meds until things were better. I coughed up one blood clot the next morning , but that was it.
  17. Oh my. I'm so sorry. I pray that everything will get better.
  18. Be patient dear. Everyone is different. The weight will come off before you know it. Stay encouraged [emoji6]
  19. Awesome!!!!!!! My doc didn't set up a Post OP for 3 weeks. Down 13.4 pounds and my surgery was a week ago today[emoji4]
  20. Thank you so much. I was opening my Prilosec
  21. When can we swallow pills again? Crushed ones are disgusting. I find myself drinking them with juice and gulping, which causes excruciating pain.
  22. It'll be here before you know it. Good luck and God Bless [emoji120]
  23. Is there a family member that you can visit to get a break? I pray that everything gets better for you. Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app
  24. @IndyMike If you were sick its probably because your body was trying to adapt to a foreign object in your body. I was told by my physician that they dont even perform that one because of all the negative issues patients have. Plus it's not a permanent solution. After a certain amount of time, they are removed. As far as binge eating, I'm not sure you will be able to without getting sick during the process. Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app
