Hello I am having sleeve surgery on 5/23. Since its after midnight here I am 2 weeks away ahhh. Lol it's nerve wracking and exciting. This is my first surgery ever so I'm trying to keep my nerves down but I am starting 2 week Liquid diet today. My doctor let's me have a small meal a day with it so not too bad. Anyway good luck to you as well and I'm excited to share our successes on here. It's a very emotional journey for sure and we all can support each other here. :-)

I am having bypass on May 29th so very close. Welcome to the boards!

Great to hear from you both! I've been an O.R. nurse for 25+ years; not sure if I'm more nervous or less because of that fact, lol! Anyway, if anyone has any questions about being a surgical patient, ask away! Looking forward to checking in with you both as we move through this journey.

I'm also a nurse, mental health for me.

Nurses always have the most interesting work stories in my experience!
