I was not allowed any alcohol for a year (and to be honest, I haven't had since before I had surgery - so probably three years). I think coffee is different - there's a wide range of opinion on that

One thing my surgeon said - post surgery that wine/alcohol passes through us in a way that is different to others. One glass could make you over the drive limit, or even quite drunk, so take care!

3 weeks post op.. Did sleeve... Can i have a small amount of wine?? Tomorrow is my anniversary n i want to have some wine or something jezzz ... But they said no liquor see but they also said no coffee and i know people that have coffee and they are fine!!!
