Hi my surgery is on Friday November 10. Just wondering if anyone was told to be on a liquid diet? My Dr said only 2 days... have you all heard anything different!?!

I was on full liquid for five weeks before surgery. Be grateful it’s only two days!!

The liquid phase varies. Some have to do a week, others two weeks. Some surgeons don't require the liquid phase at all. Other patients need to lose more weight before surgery and need to be on liquids several weeks.
