How long does cramping last after surgery?

I am 2 days post op, and when I sip anything, my stomach cramps so bad. Is that normal and when does that go away? Its making it hard to get my liquids in....

I was cramping all the time for about 2 weeks. It then went to cramping slightly during/after eating for another two weeks.

I still get crampy I am 10 days post op. Especially when I eat cold things. I was wondering the same thing when does it stop. It makes me not want to drink always or sometimes I feel like if I may drink it gets stuck like I have a gas bubble stuck.

I get the gas bubble feeling anytime I imbibe anything even medicine. I have to do a lot of burping and walking to reset. My actual stomach doesn't cramp much though but I feel (in a greatly exaggerated manner) the route my food takes. I'm 7 days post op.
