Your doctor should give you an outline of what they want you to do. Different doctors have different plans. I did 2 weeks of 3-4 protein shakes/day and unlimited veggies.

Tomorrow I start my pre op diet I'm getting sleeved on 3/27/17

How long did you have to wait to get officially approved for the surgery?

I start my 2 week preop diet tomorrow. I get protein shakes and clear liquids. I am not 100% sure how I feel about it all right now but I know tomorrow I am going to be feeling some kind of way. I am a hairstylist and on my feet for 8 hours a day so I worry about how much energy I will have.

I started my pre op diet on 3/20 but surgery is on the 4/5 . Today day three has been the worst so far but has to be worth it in the end ! Tired and hungry and nervous !

I started my 2 week pre-op on March 16th. The first couple of days are tough but it's gotten easier for me. I'm only allowed 4 protein shakes and 2 protein bars, and 3 servings of sugar free popsicles and jello and clear broth per day. I've created a schedule where I'm constantly drinking a protein shakes or some type of fluid so that I'm not hungry.

You've got this. Good luck!

Congrats! almost time, push through the liquids. it gets easier after surgery because you wont be hungry Lol.

I am into day 1, and I think I underestimated how tired I would feel! I am a hair stylist so I'm working busy busy on my feet. I've had a premiere protein chocolate shake, water, some sf jello, a syntrax nectar shake, and now I'm drinking water with mio flavor with b vitamins hoping it will give me a boost. I'm emotional. I'm shaking and I'm sluggish.
I know the first few days are the hardest but geez. I just wanna crawl in a hole and cry. I'm not hungry, I just feel like junk.
