  2. Wow never heard of self testing. It's a requirement for me as well. I'm going today for my sleep study consult.
  3. Oh no! Hope you're doing better now!
  4. Nice! Congrats on your weight loss so far! I can't wait to get my surgery!

  9. Wow so you couldn't breath that well with the hiatal hernia?
  10. Wow! Thanks for sharing and glad you're doing much better!
  11. That's so great! I'm excited!
  12. Oh nice ok! I was wondering if the repair would slow down the recovery time. But thank you for that[emoji6]
  13. Yes that's exactly what I have! I was hoping my doctor wouldn't say that I needed the bypass instead of the sleeve because of my hiatal hernia. In the seminar she said that she recommends the bypass depending on the type of hernia. I want the sleeve and not the bypass. I have my initial consultation on Thursday. We shall see what she says.
  14. Did anyone get their hernia repaired while getting sleeved?
  15. Yes the beard SUCKS!!! I have ALL the symptoms! [emoji30]
  16. Yeeesssss me tooooo! I've gone years without having it too. Scary thing. People always say "oh lucky you for not having a period" and I say lucky you for having one because it's abnormal not to have one and can cause many problems.
  17. Oh yay for you! I haven't had the surgery yet. I'm still in the beginning.
  18. Wow! That is awesome! Congratulations! I'm so excited. Right now I'm taking a medication to come on my period. I haven't had the surgery yet but I will this year. I'm still in the beginning phase of going to classes and seminars and all that good stuff!
  19. Wooooowww! That's so amazing! This definitely confirms my decision of having the surgery! Thanks for your reply!!![emoji8]
  20. Has anyone had the surgery that has or had PCOS? Have you noticed any changes in your body such as your menstrual cycle?
  21. Has anyone ladies out there had the sleeve done with PCOS and sleep apnea? Have you noticed any improvement with your hormonal imbalance such as having a regular cycle now? Has your sleep apnea improved? Thanks for your feedback!
  22. How long did you have to wait to get officially approved for the surgery?
  23. I know that I would still have to go through some form of pre-op. I'm just hoping that my hernia would speed up my process. Like you said I may or may not luck out, but If it does turn out that my process will take longer than expected then of course I have no choice but to accept it and make the best it. I'm just speaking on hopes[emoji4]
  24. Wow! Now that's what I'm talking about. I'm thinking about scheduling to have me hiatal hernia corrected initially and then I'm gonna ask if I can have my surgery done at the same time. I'm gonna make it seem like I want my hernia fixed first and maybe that way I won't have to wait months to get the surgery. lol I'm hoping that'll work.
