    A Sleep apnea exam is a requirement for surgery approval but my insurance only does self testing where they'll mail me the equipment to test I use overnight and mail it all back. Has anyone else had to do a self administered exam?? Kind of nervous

    I'm not sure how it works I don't have to take a class I just went in for a consultation. My Doctor there told me what the requirements my insurance had and gave me the referrals I needed since I have HMO. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    I just had my 1st appointment on the 3rd of this month!! I am going to have my ultrasound tomorrow having a hard time finding someone to do a psych eval but the doctor didn't say anything about Protein shakes? When do you start pre op?
