I am into day 1, and I think I underestimated how tired I would feel! I am a hair stylist so I'm working busy busy on my feet. I've had a premiere protein chocolate shake, water, some sf jello, a syntrax nectar shake, and now I'm drinking water with mio flavor with b vitamins hoping it will give me a boost. I'm emotional. I'm shaking and I'm sluggish.
I know the first few days are the hardest but geez. I just wanna crawl in a hole and cry. I'm not hungry, I just feel like junk.

Congrats! almost time, push through the liquids. it gets easier after surgery because you wont be hungry Lol.

I started the all liquid phase Monday. I agree. I am simply exhausted.

I started mine Monday and I'm suffering. [emoji30]

I started my clear liquid preop diet on Wednesday and I woke up feeling a tad better today. Wednesday was hard, yesterday was a bit better but still very cranky. Praying today will be even better because my poor kids are dealing with mama crank right now. :(
It's surprising how many people are allowed to have protein shakes like boost slim fast or premier protein (which is my favorite protein drink). I can't even have those after surgery because of the calorie to protein ratio. Too many calories for the amount of protein you get. My dr gave me a list of protein I can have and those I can't.
For my preop liquid diet, I'm only allowed SF popsicles, SF jello, water plain or with protein powder mixed in, decaf tea, and low sodium broth. Only starting my third day and already hating the taste of it all.

The shakes I am having can also be puddings and that's what held me over yesterday's but today I'm just sick of it. I want salt. Anything with salt. Maybe even just salt by itself at this point! I have another 8 days, and idk if I can do it!

We can do it. Mind over matter. Do it for your kids.
