Milk of magnesia, miralax or dulcolax. Depending on how long it's been. I went about 5 days without bm, M.O.M. And Miralax did nothing, dulcolax got me moving then tale Miralax every other day since with a cup of tea each morning. No issues since. Good luck, I know it's rough but you'll get through it.

I use Milk of Magnesia anytime I have not gone to the bathroom by the third day. It works fast and effectively (usually within 2 hours).

This is very common because of protein shakes and pain meds will cause constpation.
You can buy unflavored laxative mix powder and mix it in sugar free water. After drinking it keep sipping water and walking to help the bowels start moving.
There are tons of other stuff to milk magnesium and enema.
If you cant poop and have terrible pain go to the er. You may be impacted.

I tried all sorts but dulcolax was the only thing which worked for me.

Constipation, in my opinion, has been the biggest issue since having surgery. When I was 2 weeks out I was taking Milk of Magnesium. I blended it with a shake. After a month or so I switched to Miralax, one serving a day mixed with yogurt or a shake. Sometimes I take a Dulcolax, like others mentioned, when the going really gets rough.

I take Miralax too I called my Doctor and that's what he recommended I like it because it doesn't cramp your stomach! Drink plenty of liquids that day to take it!
