    30 March still feels ages away for me, but I start my pre-op liquid diet on March 10, so it will all start getting real pretty quickly! I just want to get it done. I'm 43 and very ready.

    I haven't told anyone apart from BF, parents, sister and kids so I can't join any Facebook groups or instagrammers as I don't intend to share my WLS until I'm good and ready. Has anyone else decided not to share their journey?? Everyone I told is wholly against me doing this so it's no wonder I'm not bothering to tell anyone.

    Hi, I am also 43 and having my operation on March 28! I can't wait to get it done and I'm just trying to stay really positive and deal with any issues as they arise.

    I haven't told anyone either except my husband, mom and Aunt. All I have said is I'm having a hernia repair (which I really am). They're just adding on the sleeve. Not lying, just not sharing all the details.
