  15. YES I think this is a problem for many of us. I have been told that taking up a hobby or reading is a to reduce stress and to combat boredom. Knitting or crocheting could be fun or doing puzzles. Anything to keep your mind and hands busy.
  16. I am scheduled for March 7th and I am so nervous, excited and scared all in one. I have several health issues and all will get better after this surgery. I have been on this journey for 9 months now and am not giving up. We together can all do this with each other and supporting each other.
  17. My Primary referred me to a Bariatric Surgeon and I had to go through 6 months of managed weight loss. The Surgeons clinic is an hour from where I live. Once a week I had to go to education classes and weigh ins. I also had to complete 6 guided exercise classes in the 6 months and meet with the dietician once a month and if you miss any of it even just once you have to start the 6 months all over.
  18. Ok I hope that I am not too far out to join this thread but Mine is March 7th and I start my Pre op diet Monday. Everything is provided by my nutritionist for the next two weeks. Good luck everyone that is going before me. please keep me updated on progress
