YES I think this is a problem for many of us. I have been told that taking up a hobby or reading is a to reduce stress and to combat boredom. Knitting or crocheting could be fun or doing puzzles. Anything to keep your mind and hands busy.

If you tell the psychiatrist or psychologist which ever one you see that you are having a problem as such as binge eating and eat while you're having any problems. They will send you to Therapy before they will do surgery on you. So you better not say anything like that when you go there

I completely understand what you mean. My Mom is not supportive of this at all but my children and husband are. It is hard when you know you are doing the right thing but loved ones and friends do not agree with it and talk it down.
