Awesome!!!! I'm so excited! I'm sure you are as well! I'm 5'5" cw260 gw125. Have fibromyalgia, borderline lupus and diabetic, high blood pressure and hypothyroidism. I want my life back and want to be active again. I love to run and exercise and haven't felt like it in the last 4 years living with this.

March 22nd with Dr Richdeep Gill in Calgary Alberta. SO EXCITED!!!!

Update: March 2nd. Surgery was moved up one week.

My surgery is supposed to be in March, I'm just waiting on approval from my Insurance and then a call from my surgeon with a date. I'm so excited and ready to get this on the ball!!!

I didn't realize they do this in Calgary, for lower BMI people. That's great.

GoodLuck!!!!

Thank you! They will do down to a BMI of 35 if you have weight-related comorbidities. I have PCOS, anxiety, and depression. It's case by case though... my first surgeon didn't think the benefits would outweigh the risks and passed on my case. Dr Gill on the other hand accepted me as his patient. I will say I joined the clinic at a BMI of 40, which is the minimum for people without comorbidities.
