I read a lot of things pre-op that indicated that it is very probable to have a period immediately after the surgery.

:-( I have surgery next week. I guess this is what I have to look forward to.

Loving Me

I had one about 2 weeks post-op - I guess it's our hormones being thrown for a loop!

It's normal I got one about 5 days after and it's been 4 years for me

I'm day 6 post op, and I just started my period yesterday. I always get a little warning, light one day, then a couple heavy days. But yesterday was full force heavy period! Just want we all want right after surgery......

I had a super wicked period during and after surgery for about 10 days. I think it was all the IV fluids because I was a waterfall (TMI). It was super hard because in recovery I had to change pads constantly, then after I left the hospital I recovered on my couch, I had to put a towel down to make sure I didn't stain it! I've never been able to keep up with my Water intake, so I think with all the influx of iv fluids my body just went to town and did a uterine self clean lol.

I also started my period 3 days in and I wasn't supposed to start for another two weeks. Keep taking Gas-x and sipping on Water as much as you can. There's so much going on around my tummy so I haven't felt any cramps yet! Or I am but the gas pain is more intense.
