Does isopure count as fluids?

Im 5 days post-op and just went home this morning. I had a bottle of Water with crystal light and was able to finish it in 3 hours. Currently sipping on Isopure zero carbs with 40g of Protein. Does this beverage count as fluids as well? I'm hoping to add the oz to my Fluid intake.

Anyone know?

Thanks!

It definitely counts! Congrats on your surgery and I wish you all the luck!

Yes it does :D

I asked my doctor the same question today and she said it doesn't count because it's technically a meal for us. Maybe contact your dr to make sure so you don't get dehydrated.

Good luck on your journey!

My nut says once it has Protein in it then it counts as a protein and no longer a liquid.

Congratulations, on your big step! I believe (may be wrong) that isopure is on the approve list for Proteins shakes.
