I saw my Dr. on Feb. 10th and am scheduled for March 28th gastric sleeve. I am excited and scared. Big life changes.

I would like to be a part of the group as well, but I am curious if it is not a secret group that folks could read the description which states bariatric surgery.

Surgery is March 15th in Tucson.

I've removed all references to surgery or weight loss on the page, just in case

Awesome I have joined your Facebook support group! :D

Hello All! I'm new to this site. My surgery is scheduled for March 15th. Super excited and ready to start the next leg of my journey.

I joined the group too! Thanks for making it!

I just went through my psych eval and was told i wouldn't be able to have the surgery due to the results of the test. i am devastated. i was so pumped and ready to do this!

@chelmybel I'm so sorry to hear that. Did they give you an action plan of things you could to be approved or reassessed at a later date?

I'm so sorry :( Did they explain the results to you? It is the sort of thing were just don't think you're ready yet, but with time and counselling you'll get there?

:) Sleeve surgery at 7:30 am tomorrow. I am so ready.

I am Catherine 65 years young from Braintree, MA. My starting weight was 276 at Christmas. I am only 4' 11" tall.

As of today I have already lost 25 lbs. I won't deny that I am very nervous or should I say anxious but my beautiful daughter is traveling now to be with me for the next few days.

Say a prayer and wish me luck

God Bless
