My issues with GERD. My surgeon highly recommended I go that way. I was going to get sleeved, but I do not want to have horrible heartburn when adjusting to my pouch.

Sounds like a good choice. I'm 3 weeks post-sleeve as of yesterday. Never had GERD previously, but do now (and it's not pleasant - I hope it goes away in time!).

And on another matter, I was a coffeeholic pre-surgery. Since surgery, one sip is enough - tastes completely different to me. Yuck!

I'm probably getting sleeved the first week in December with any luck. Having issues finding my birth certificate, but the minute it arrives I'm ready!
