  21. Hi Mindy142 We are day apart. My surgery is on December 13th!
  22. My issues with GERD. My surgeon highly recommended I go that way. I was going to get sleeved, but I do not want to have horrible heartburn when adjusting to my pouch.
  23. I just got approved for December 13th for surgery in the morning. Feeling excited and anxious to take this on. Have to break up with Starbucks.
  24. I just got my surgery date for December 13th. Nervous and happy also!!!
  25. Hi Shanirish I am from the central valley near Modesto, CA. I have completed my insurance requirements and am waiting for approval from my insurance to get surgery scheduled.
  26. I was just reading that right after surgery, medical staff goes heavy on hydrating you via IV and that sometimes you may gain weight (fluids) and it will come off in less then a month.
  27. I have anxiety and depression also and had my psych eval yesterday. He just gave me a couple of tests and wanted to find out the reason why I wanted surgery. He informed me not to have my doctor change my medication as the surgery is of course, life altering. He recommended me for the surgery. As long as you are not having severe uncontrolled panic attacks, or severe depression, you will be fine.
