If it makes me look older in the end i dont care im extending my life and improving the quality of it. I was sleeved 1/4/17 and im down 40 lbs so far. Everything i have read says lots of hydration excersise and moisturize. Just eat right and drink lots of water and vitamins

My doctor said about 2 weeks as long as the job is not physical

Found out the lower part of my left lung closed up from the surgery. The nurse was surprised they didnt teach me to cough holding a pillow and use the spirometer at the hospital. Still have sharp pain everytime i breath in deep hopefully it gets better

Took milk of magnesium it worked

Thank you all its hard to know whats supposed to be normal and i felt like this is never going away. Now i know ill get through it!

No one seems to talk about the pain. It hurts to even breath. I know i just had major surgery but not even the meds in the hospital brought my pain level down. Morphine was a joke and did nothing. They ended up giving me deladid every 2 hrs and lortab every 4 and still was in extreme pain. So then i got released last night and am at home trying to manage on Percocet every 6 hrs. Is this amount of pain normal? It wraps all the way around to my back and i cant take a full breath. Please someone tell me it gets better soon idk if i can take too many more days like today

Well if everything goes perfect this morning i am scheduled for surgery at 10 am. Im scared and nervous of the actual surgery but excited for the future. Wish me luck!

Started my liquid diet yesterday and was so excited to find out i can still eat vegies lol. The no salt might kill me at the end of two weeks but its so worth it. 13 days until my surgury! Im so excited and nervous! Anyone else a jan surgery ?

Can anyone tell me when they got tested for smoking before the surgery. I am struggling and dont want to screw up and not get my surgery. I have had so much going on the last cpl months and this is all so stressful enough just having a major surgery. Now im 3 weeks before my sugery and i had quit but backslid. If anyone feels like sharing or has any advise i could use it right about now
