  2. I had surgery last Wednesday and returned to work yesterday. I work in an office and walk about 4-5000 steps a day. I'm good for about 6 hours but then start yawning. I'm not allowed coffee so I just deal with the afternoon slump.
  3. I was sleeved Wednesday 1/12/17 and I'm on my 5th mug of broth today. Jello and sugar free Popsicles don't sit well in my new stomach. I can hardly wait to make pureed meals, I'm saving this one. Thanks!!

  7. I changed surgeons and therefore had a different pre and post op diet. Same surgery, same BMI, different diet. Go figure...hmmm.

  9. I'm getting sleeved on the 11th
  10. I'm leaving the 10th for my surgery on the 11th with Dr Cabrera in Mexico. Please keep us updated on how you're doing

  12. My insurance covers WLS but my out of pocket cost is more than what I can get it done for in Mexico... plus I don't have all those hoops to jump through as well as the 6 month wait while I'm jumping...lol. My co worker just got back from her surgery in Mexico last month and she said the pain was minimal and she has no regrets with her decision. My surgery is scheduled for next week and I'm counting the days!
  13. I'm probably getting sleeved the first week in December with any luck. Having issues finding my birth certificate, but the minute it arrives I'm ready!
  14.    ChickenChick reacted to a post in a topic: Any other November sleevers out there?
  15. I am having so much trouble choking down Protein drinks. It smells like the tube feeding I put in my patients and the taste makes me want to vomit. I tried the double shot espresso from CLICK last night and it's the first shake that didn't make me sick. It comes in lots of flavors but make sure you can have caffeine. My boss is having surgery with a different surgeon and she's not allowed caffeine. I have variety packs from 3 different companies to try, and I'll keep you posted if I find anything that I can tolerate. FYI: I'm have surgery in 3 weeks with Dr Ortiz in Mexico at OCC
  16. I leave November 28, surgery is on the 29th. I'm not scared just excited to get this done. It helps my daughter and I are going to Mexico together. If I was doing this alone I would probably be nervous.
