I had my gastric sleeve on 9-8-16..today makes two months for me. The beginning was rough because I developed a strangulated hernia and had to have a second surgery a week later but all in all I'm doing much better. Highest weight was 430 Pre op weight was 409 Current Weight 360....you don't realize how heavy you are until you start loosing the weight post-301219-14786013142747_thumb.jpg

@@vjc2004, you look great! I'm glad you were attentive to your body and not ignore signs of the complications you encountered. I'm glad you are doing well and it shows. What is your food intake like now?

@@prisi84, congratulations on your surgery as well. Keep us informed? Are you on liquids now?

I have 2 more Nutritional visits. HW 240, CW 217, with sleep apnea..

I have 2 more Nutritional visits. HW 240, CW 217, with sleep apnea..

My food intake has increased some then at first. Im still working on getting my liquid intake up. I eat a lot of chicken and fish for Protein and other protein supplements. You just have to take your time to fine a balance that works well for you and try not to compare your journey with anyone else

Congratz and you are doing great. You are so right that you never realize how heavy you are until you take it off... Even 20 lbs makes a huge difference on the stress on my body. Great job!
