I suggest using unflavored Protein powder and adding it to some of the pureed foods you are already eating.

@@TanishaP The only way I get my Protein is with an unflavored Protein Powder as @@blizair09 suggested. If you don't do that - you'll probably have to supplement with shakes still (which is something I couldn't stand anymore). I bought GENEPRO and it is really good - I've added it to butternut squash and sugar free pudding and you can't even tell it's in there.

Ditto... I'm having at least one 25-30 gram shake a day, in addition to adding unflavored Protein (Genepro and Isopure) to my puree'd food (soups, chili, etc.). My goal is at least 90-100 grams of protein.

I have my post-op appointment in 3 hours' time and am hoping to be cleared for the pureed stage also. I'm soooooooooo sick of liquids and Soups now! :-)

      April Surgery
      Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

      Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
