I have been swallowing Water in a more normal fashion than I thought I would be since the first week post-op, but now, at Day 26 post-op, I would almost characterize drinking water as "normal" for me. When I was able to introduce Premier Protein shakes at Day 10 post-op, though, it took me about 2 hours to drink one. Now, I can drink one in about 20 minutes.

I count my blessings about the water, though, as I have read about many people who are still sipping weeks out from surgery.

How about anything else?

Never had a issue drinking Water after day 1... Fast or slow. Easy recovery here, but that worried me... Felt like I didn't have the surgery. I am a band to sleeve revision so things may be a little different for comparison purposes.

I still have to sip :( I took a gulp on accident 7 days post op and it hurt so bad. It literally takes me half a day to drink 12oz because I'm constantly sipping, sipping, sipping.

I'm able to take normal sips too. I had a rough first few days but doing well at 6 days post-op.

I can drink completely normal and I'm 12 days post op but I've been able to drink normal since like 7 days. I kinda got nervous when my surgeon emphasized sipping all day so I at least get my Water in and said "since you can't just drink a glass of water" but I could and didn't say anything because I thought I was doing something wrong
