  3. Tell him you're on a really strict diet. You don't have to tell anyone anything. Only my fiance and mom know about my surgery. No one else knows, not my job, no other family members, or friends. Don't tell him. Sent from my SM-N930T using the BariatricPal App
  4. I still have to sip I took a gulp on accident 7 days post op and it hurt so bad. It literally takes me half a day to drink 12oz because I'm constantly sipping, sipping, sipping. HW 308 SW 303 CW 282.8 Sent from my SM-N930T using the BariatricPal App

  6. I took 5 days off and I'm an Investigator for the State. I felt fine. Everyone is different. I never felt dizzy. My surgery weight was 303 if that has anything to do with it. Sent from my SM-N930T using the BariatricPal App
  7. Hi Jane7560! I had had surgery on October 14th. I lost 5 lbs before surgery and I've lost 20 lbs since surgery. 25 total! The hard part for me was the gas and nausea. Day 1 was a breeze, Day 2 was the absolute worst due to gas and nausea. I couldn't even keep Water down. Day 4 was better I drove to the grocery store and ran a few errands. By day 7 I felt completely normal. No nausea, no gas, and absolutely no pain. I just feel like I've been doing major crunches. Sent from my SM-N930T using the BariatricPal App
  8. IV fluids, not worries. Wait to day 4 or 5 to weigh yourself again. Sent from my SM-N930T using the BariatricPal App
  9. Day 2 was the worst for me. I had so much gas pain but by day 4 I was back to normal driving to the grocery store and walking very fast. I was able to sleep on my stomach by day 6 and today I'm like 'What surgery'? Lol I feel completely back to my old self. I was 303 on 10.14 (date of surgery) & as of today I'm 285.6 The pain is temporary! Stay strong Sent from my SM-N930T using the BariatricPal App

  11. I had my first appointment with my doctor on September 29th and had my actual surgery on October 14th. My insurance does not cover weight loss surgery but I also had a hernia that needed to be repaired. My insurance covered the hernia and I paid cash for my sleeve. My Doctor was awesome and helped me with everything. Sent from my SM-N930T using the BariatricPal App
  12. I'm only 7 days post op but maybe you can try a different exercise routine. If you normally do the treadmill try the stairmaster or elliptical. Also around week 6 weights should be ok. Sent from my SM-N930T using the BariatricPal App
  13. I drink propel all day, it's easier for me to get down. I'm 7 days post op. Sent from my SM-N930T using the BariatricPal App
  14. I had my sleeve done by Dr.Dirk Rodriguez in Irving, Texas and I had no pre-op diet. I was only told not to eat anything past 10pm the day before. I had my surgery 10.14.16 and I am on a liquid diet until the 28th and I will begin soft foods on the 28th. I ate anything I wanted up until the day before but I still ate less than usual. I have lost 13 lbs since my surgery! Sent from my SM-N930T using the BariatricPal App
