Semi Low carb

Anyone doing a semi low carb diet? I've lost weight on the strict low carb, but can't handle this constipation.

My dietician said, no fruit, but I think I Am going to buy some now. Maybe watermelon or peaches? I Am hoping that helps

I guess I'm doing "semi low carb". I eat 1 or 2 servings of fruit most days, and try to choose the whole-grain/complex carbs when I have carbs. I have been keeping my carb load around 80g a day. I've lost 41 lbs and am at 7 weeks post op. Loss is starting to slow, but is still going. My surgeon is good with this plan, she doesn't like to cut out any food groups, just said to stay away from sugar and refined carbs.

I don't avoid carbs, I avoid highly processed or refined carbs (bread, Pasta, rice, sugar). But I eat plenty of fruit, Beans and lentils.

I average about 80g-90g a day. Sometimes as high as 110g-115g. I have lost extremely fast, so I can't imagine the carbs slowed my weight loss at all. I've lost 162lbs in a little less than 8 months.

Good vegetables to get moving are: cauliflower, broccoli, brussel sprouts. They are low carb with plenty of fiber.

Oh, and apples are a good fruit, loads of fiber as well.

I was low carb/ketosis until I got to goal. Now is am sort of low carb. Veggies and fruit are on the menu. Even the occasional potato. I still do not eat wheat, rice, Bread, pasta, added sugar or highly processed foods.

Can someone give me a good breakfast to eat on this phase 2 (mushy)
