3rd day since surgery and I'm back to work... I'm have a bit of pain on the larger incision...should I be worried?

I'm still in some pain from my incisions and I had surgery 9/19. It is not unusual at all. I can't imagine going back to work three days after, is there a way you can take more time off?

I am in my 4th day post-op from the sleeve and also have quite a bit of pain in my larger incision. I think that's not uncommon, but if it feels warm, becomes red, or you get a fever you should seek medical attention ASAP.

I am in my 4th day too and in pain. It's not uncommon at all.

The pain isn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be, but it is still there -- especially if I am not careful about how I sit down and get up.

My biggest issue is that I get really tired pretty easily, but even that isn't as bad as I thought it would be.

I can't imagine going back to work right now. I am not going back for another month plus. It's a full-time job keeping up with what I need to do to be successful (fluids and protein), walking, and keeping up all of these appointments.

7 days out and still feel pain in larger incision. Follow up,is Wednesday. I definitely could not be back at work yet, still having issues getting in Fluid. Good luck

I had my Surgery on the 26 as well and was planning on going to work tomorrow but I changed to Wednesday still in pain

I went back to work after four weeks and still had a little pain when I sneezed. Please don't rush your recovery. This is major surgery.

Had my sleeve in the 27th, still having pain near my biggest incision. It gets a little better every day. I can't imagine being back at work yet, still in recovery mode for sure.

I had the same pain. It hurt so bad to move or roll over. It was scary and I thought something was wrong, but it goes away. Mine lasted about two weeks.

It's a major surgery..give ur body time to heal. .plus staying home will help u plan ur meal for great success n getting ur stomach used to food again. Believe me it's a learning curve
