  1. I had the same dreams for about a week or two after surgery. It's such a relief when you realize you didn't actually do it! Lol Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  2. Do it! I was in the same situation and am so happy with the sleeve. I had emergency surgery in Jan. for band removal and swore I would never have another surgery. I was sick for 7 years with the band and didn't lose that much weight even though I followed the plan exactly. I was sleeved in July and have not been sick a single time! I've lost 42 lbs. in 4 months which is more than I ever lost with band and I feel great. My only regret is that I didn't get sleeved 8 years ago! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  3. I used to dream that I ate something I wasn't supposed to. This was right after my surgery and I was still on liquids. It would seem so real but then I would wake up and be relieved that it was only a dream.
  4. I bought some too and it was delish! I thought it would be ok for a treat, but now I wish I had not tried it because it has triggered some sweet cravings. Like high functioning fat man said, a slippery slope.
  5. Can anyone suggest a good brand of Emu oil. I've read that it is good for your skin.
  6. My surgeon said not until you can eat at least 800 calories a day.
  7. I had the same pain. It hurt so bad to move or roll over. It was scary and I thought something was wrong, but it goes away. Mine lasted about two weeks. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  9. I had to wait six months. The recovery from band removal was easy; the recovery from sleeve took longer. There's no way I could of gone back to work the next day. I needed at least two weeks! Now that all that has passed, I am so happy with the sleeve. I was never happy with the band; it just didn't work for me. I felt sick all the time and didn't lose much weight. I have not been sick with the sleeve and actually feel full after I eat. No regrets!
  10. I met with my nut today and got in trouble for putting sausage in a low carb casserole. No sausage for me! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  11. I ordered NutraBio unflavored protein powder from Amazon and it arrived today. I mixed it with cold water and added Mio flavoring and it's great. I can't wait to try mixing it with broths/soups. I like the Premier shakes as well, but am tired of all my liquid protein having a sweet flavor.
  12. July 25, 2016. Had my two week post op appt yesterday and am down 10 lbs. I got to have a scrambled egg last night and it may have been the best egg I have ever eaten! I can drink a lot of water, but 2oz of egg really filled me up. I seem to be losing slower than others but I feel great and am glad to be on this journey!
