Is anyone else only a few days post op and can't get warm enough? I never get cold, but ever since the surgery Monday I started to get so cold! I really started to notice it today! Especially my hands and feet!

Sounds like you need to get blood flowing. Walk more and move around.

I've been walking so much! Staying so busy with my kids too! I've lost 9 lbs in 4 days. Maybe that has something to do with it

I am 7 1/2 weeks out, and I am constantly cold now. Especially my hands and feet. I was always hot before and active. I even wear sweaters and warm socks when it's almost 80 here

I was. It is very common. Most of the blood from out extremities is being diverted to help with healing.

First week I was freezing and our place was 82 F deg... I kept taking my temperature too, but no fever. Second week was much better.

Three years out and I am always cold. It's MY opportunity to wear compression garments or cute cardigans without breaking a sweat.

Yea I'm always cold at about 5 weeks out

As long as you are just cold and don't have a fever, it is likely to be related to your metabolism and your body adjusting to the dramatic weight loss plus the reduction in fuel to burn to keep you warm.

10 days post-op and freezing here too. It's getting better, though. Just keep a sweater and blanket close by for when you need them. Hang in there! And congratulations!

My Dr said to expect it but almost 3 weeks out and I haven't experienced it yet. I'm looking forward to it to! Post menopausal and am always warm!

I'm just under a year out now and I'm almost permanently cold, that being said I'll take that minor inconvenience as everything else is good
