  12. Thanks! That makes me feel a lot better! Do you track your calories by any chance? Just asking cause it is seriously crazy how fast eating protein jacks your calories up LOL. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  13. I'm definitely hungry every 2-3 hours too! It's hard for me because I'm a stay at home mom and I'm cooking all day for my kids. It gets tough! I definitely have to have strength on a daily basis LOL. Thanks so much for replying!!! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  14. Thank you so much! This made me feel so much better! I can eat a thousand too, actually 1200 is average for me. I track every single bite of food I take in MyFitnessPal! LOL I'm kind of OCD about tracking it LOL. I know most people won't track a bite or two that they take of something, but I do, and sometimes I wonder if that's why my calorie count is higher. I know all my friends I've asked if they count the few times a day they have a bite or two of something, and they always say they don't track little stuff like that, so I don't know LOL. I just want to get this last 40 off! I'm ok with the weight loss slowing down a lot because my skin is having time to catch up it seems. Thanks so much for your honesty. Sometimes people can make you feel awful and it discourages a lot of people from being honest and posting. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  16. How much can you eat around 6 months post op? I feel at times that I can eat a lot more than I'm supposed to! I don't let myself because I'm scared to actually see how much. But for example: we were road tripping and I got a Wendy's Jr. Cheeseburger and was able to eat all but a bite. Is this completely out of the ordinary? I didn't at all feel over stuffed. It was the tiny kids cheeseburger that comes in their meal. Please don't post hateful stuff cause I ate a cheeseburger LOL. I eat very good 99% of the time. Thanks everyone. Also, I've lost 60 pounds so far, with about 40 more to go. I had surgery 9/12/16 Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  23. Hey everyone! I am 9 weeks post op and up until the last couple days, I've wondered if my sleeve was too big because I always feel hungry and I can eat a little more than a lot of people I know who have gotten VSG. Last night though, I noticed I got super full off a very small amount, and today the same thing. All of the sudden I'm feeling major fullness that I haven't been feeling up until the last couple days. I don't feel sick or anything, it just takes a lot less food and I'm crazy full. Also, I'm noticing I can feel the food go down into my stomach all the sudden too. I haven't felt that before. Is this weird, or something I should call my doc on? 24. I just wrote this in another post too. I just upped my calories to 1000 this last week and I am 8 weeks out. Sometimes I feel like I need a little extra calories and will go up to 1100. I eat every 3 hours. I take in around 60-80 grams of Protein a day. I wasn't one of the lucky ones whose hunger went away, unless I'm confusing hunger with something else. I've been on an antacid since the day of surgery. I drink 50-70 oz of Water a day. I stay hungry still! But I have lost 33 lbs in 8 weeks, which I am happy about! 31. No they didn't. I was wondering that too LOL I guess I should be happy I can eat and drink without issues. It's only 3-4 oz I can eat anyways LOL. I don't know why I'm freaking out. Just really want to be successful. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  32. I have small children LOL. I was feeding them at the same time I was trying to eat. It was dinner time. Once I got them fed, I finished, hence the 50 minute time span. I just had the same thing for dinner tonight and finished the 3 oz of tuna in 30 mins. I don't know why I think it's so strange that I eat 3 oz and don't feel stuffed, but for some reason I feel like I shouldn't be able to eat that much yet. 33. Tuna and crackers at 2 1/2 weeks post op? That alone is a scary thought. Anyway the way my surgeon explained the sleeve to me is that everyone goes into surgery with different stomach sizes, but everyone comes out of surgery with the same size stomach/sleeve. Apparently they place a standard size tube into your tummy to size your sleeve up and then remove the "extra" part of the stomach, seal it up and of course remove that measuring tube thingy. I feel the same as you though. Water and shakes go down very easily and I don't really feel full. I'm not at all worried though because liquid just slides on through. BUT I do wonder when I start puréed foods if I will begin to feel that full sensation. I'm 16 days post op and still have about 14 days to go before I reach that stage. “Whenever you do a thing, act as if all the world were watching.” Thank you! Yes I can have puréed foods now starting at 14 days post op. My plan says I can have canned tuna because it's extremely flakey and turns into a purée when you chew. And the crackers came with the pack, but the instructions on my paperwork say that crackers are ok too because it turns into mushy when you chew it. It's a 3 oz can of tuna. I can usually eat 2-3 oz refried Beans, but for some reason I was thinking tuna was a denser protein and I wouldn't be able to finish the 3 oz package. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
