Hi folks. I am 5 days out from surgery and am browsing the discussion topics on the forum. One thing I am curious about is the experience people who had type II diabetes before the surgery have after the surgery. Did you come off all your meds? How are your sugars now, etc? I took oral meds for my type II before surgery and have not taken them since surgery and my sugar numbers are generally good, staying under 140, but today I had one that was 228. I know those may not be horrible to some people, but its just something I am interested in hearing what others experienced. Thanks!
