Eek it's right around the corner to October! I love knowing there are other people going though the same progress as me!

I'm having doubts, I told my husband that on Monday I'm canceling again (we went through this last weekend) but now it's Monday I've decided to not cancel. When I choose to have the surgery I know no matter what I needed to stand by that choice come he'll or high Water. So even though I want to cancel because of my fears I won't.

I fear that I won't lose any weight at all, which is almost impossible but I feel like I'll be that 0.1% who doesn't lol

I used Circle Of Care in 2007 for my Lap Band and last year when I had the emergency surgery to have it removed because it slipped.

I decided to go a different route this time. A whole new team.

He is one of the most experienced Doctors in this field so you'll be in good hands! Have you started your pre-op diet yet?

I don't @@Jess31581 only liquids 24 hours before the surgery but I have put myself on a modified version of the diet and have lost weight

That's a great idea...I've been thinking of adding a protein drink per day but I don't want to get sick of them before surgery lol

I'm so excited for you. I've been hoarding food in readiness including jelly packets, Soups etc. I start my pre op diet on the 7th October. I will be interested to see how you go with your surgery.

@@Jess31581 my first day trying all liquids was so hard and I ended up having a salad for dinner. I usually do one shake and one Protein bar per day. Some days all liquids and then a solid dinner. Went from 226 to 207 since the end of July

I'm scheduled for October 3rd. I'm in Cincinnati, Ohio. Start pre-op diet tomorrow. Mine is not strictly fluids until after the ninth day. Then it's a shake they gave me and clear liquids only.

@@anm1979 that is amazing!! Maybe I'll implement that type of diet starting this week - it'll be way less of a shock when day before surgery is nothing but liquids.
