  1. That's exactly where the weight I'm at and have been stalled there for 4 months. I'm 8 months out
  2. I eat watermelon everyday and blend my protein shakes with fruit. That may be contributing to my stall
  3. I use my fitness pal and track my calories. I stick to 1200 per day. My carbs are high because of the fruit and oatmeal, but I get at least 50-60 grams of protein in per day. I do cardio and weight training at each workout and I do it for about 90 minutes, 3 times per week. I do both upper and lower body weights, the elliptical and stair machine for 15 minutes each.
  4. Yep, I cut the carbs and sweets, starting logging in my fitness pal and hitting the gym at least 3 times a week. I also have "high inflammation" and a flare up. I'm going to get my labs done to make sure that there is nothing else going on. I went back to the basics and the scale still has not moved.
  5. I was sleeved eight months ago and have been at a stall for the past four months. Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions on how I can break the stall?
  6. It made my stomach ache a little. I will definitely wait until it flattens and just becomes flavored Water. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  7. Thank you. I wanted to try something different to help me help me get my fluids in but didn't realize how much it was carbonated until I began to sip. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  10. I started using the calorie tracker for the first time yesterday and realized I was not getting my calories in. I was eating an average of 360 calories. I made myself get to 536 and and 63 grams of Protein in and exercised. I just weighed and lost a pound. It works when you eat. I mainly ate meat and cheese. Had my Protein shake for Breakfast, 3 shrimp and one bite of squash for lunch, 2 more shrimp later as a snack, and I had to stay up late to force my self to eat a slice of deli meat, a slice of cheese, piece of salami and 2 tablespoons of a cheese log Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  11. Me too Joy, I did soup this week and did not lose. I do well with deli meat and cheese but the cheese is fattening Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  12. How many calories did you start with? I'm in phase 2 and on about 560 a day Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  13. Got sleeved 10/24. HW 226, SW 209, CW 194. Lost 12 lbs since surgery. Can only eat soft foods. Stopped eating the carb soups bc I felt like it was slowing my weight loss down. I started walking on the treadmill 3 days post op. Trying to get more Water and Protein in. Ate chicken breast and threw up. Gonna take it slow with meat and stick with a soft diet, up the exercise, try to get 60 grams of protein in and hopefully keep dropping the lbs. I was losing 1-2 lbs per day the first week and a half, this week I gained and lost the same pound. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  14. My incisions are fine and the chest pressure is ok. Just dealing with dehydration and can't eat more than 2 bites of food at a time. Apparently that's normal Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  15. The steroids helped! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  16. Wow. Are you guys exercising yet? My surgeon told me to get on the treadmill 3-4 days out as much as I can tolerate. I plan to start tomorrow at a slow pace for 20 minutes Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  17. I am almost one week out and was pumped with so many bags of saline IV Fluid in the hospital that my weight went up 5 lbs. I probably won't see a loss until the swelling from the surgery leaves and all of the extra IV fluid comes off. I'm 4 days out and finally able to keep liquids down but have not lost any weight. I hear that this is normal. Anyone else have this experience? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  18. I had to stay two days. Thought I was over it but it came back when I got home. Room temp Water seems to be staying down and I just bought tea! Thank you! At least now I know it's pretty common. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  19. Luckily I don't have the burning, I just can't keep anything down. He prescribed protonix and I will take it shortly Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  20. I'm 3 days out and having that same problem! It got a little better when I started spreading 1oz over 15min. I can't do any cold liquids at all yet. Makes it worse. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  21. Hi! I got sleeved on Tuesday October 25 and have had the worst time keeping things down. My doctor gave me 3 rounds of steroids and nausea meds to decrease the swelling. I feel 100% better but still have a gastric type of foam Come up and nothing will digest. It feels like my liquids are stuck in my throat. Has anyone else had this problem?
