2 months out

Hi- I am almost 2'months out and have lost 60 pounds. 10 pounds was on the liquid. 30 was the first 3 weeks and 20 has been the last 5 weeks. My weight loss is going by so slow... I know I have lost a lot but not sure what else to do to move the scale. I feel like I've been suck or lose .2 or 0 pounds daily.

What's everyone weight loss after the second month?

And why exercise are you doing?

Thanks

Welcome to how WLS works. You have done fantastic! Your body cannot keep up that pace every day, it is simply not good for you and it needs time to reset.

As you get closer and closer to your goal it will really slow down and you will have to be diligent about what you eat. The last 30lbs was like pure torture but I promise if you stick to the eating plan and move your body they will come off.

Fret not, you are doing fantastic! Keep up the good work!

I've lost roughly 61lbs and I'm seven weeks post-op. Lost 15lbs on the liquid diet, and 46lbs post-op. The only exercise I've been getting until recently is walking, I get in at least 8km daily, and starting this week I'll be doing weights three days a week (Doctor said I should be okay for lifting now)

I will be thrilled if I have lost 60 pounds after 2 months! I'm 5 weeks out now and 29.5 pounds down. I lost 21 pounds the first 3 weeks and then just a few pounds each of the next two weeks. I'm hoping the weight loss will pick back up soon! Good luck!
