  2. I am 8 months post up. 2 days ago i got a left upper abdominal pain really bad. I couldn't even drink anything. Once each sip of liquid touched my stomach it hurt like craZy. Yesterday I went to the ER due to the pain not going away after a day and worsening as time went by. Had a CT scan and was found to have and internal hernia for which had emergency operation. Laparoscopic operation with reopening 3 old incisions and 3 new ones. Any advice and/or could anyone who has gone through this tell your story. I was put back on stage 3 diet Please if you read this talk to me about the topic. Thanks in advance Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  10. Has it happened to anyone that if you don't have a good night sleep you look very pale the next day or next days? A few people have told me I look very pale and I have noticed it usually gets noticed a day or two after not having a good night sleep. I was slightly anemic and I am taking Iron for it. Why does this happens only when I don't get a good night sleep ? 14. Hi everyone I'm already 3 months post up. I was 237 lbs preop and now weight 293. Success in process!!! Although I have lost significantly slow. However, I was diagnosed with low Iron levels. I was told to but a specific Iron supplement over the counter. Since I started taking Iron I have noticed a significant change in my appetite anything from Water to food will give me nausea and disgust once it hits my stomach....This made me go back to Protein shakes to complete my protein intake... Any advise Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App Sorry 237 preop and now weight 193 Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  15. I have struggled with weight loss after surgery ( been loosing very slowly after my first sudden 17 lbs loss the first week) I'm 8 weeks post up now and honestly I wish I had those stalls and then suddenly loose loose and loose, but nope my body is taking it's time and loosing slowly Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App Have lost 33 pounds in 8 weeks Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  16. I am one of thoses people who looses 10-15 lbs a month I am 8 weeks post up and down 33 lbs It's really frustrating. I was actually going to question it here in bariatric pal, but since I saw this post Daisee68 I'm glad i'm not alone. I really wish I would loose a bit faster, but really can't do nothing about if i'm already following all instructions. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  17. How many carbs and how much fat should I be having 7 weeks post up? I don't want to over eat in those 2 things specially carbs many foods have carbs Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  18. Almost 7 weeks post up how many calories should I be having at this point? I know 60-80g Protein and 64 oz fluids, but besides that how many calories should I be having. I don't want to stretch my pouch. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  19. I was very worried about loosing to slow, but I had my 6 week post up Thursday and my NUT & surgeon told me I am doing totally fine and that I have lost a good amount of weight. Wednesday i'll be 7 weeks and have only lost 27lbs. Since I was told by my doctors i'm doing fine, I am seeing this the good way and hope it helps you too -> Loosing slowly is better later on because the faster you loose weight the greater the chances you'll get them back. The slower you loose the harder it is in the future to regain. Of course keep in mind healthy eating always. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  20. Yes I am chicken breast, ground turkey, salmon, fish And to moist I have avocado, light mayo, chicken broth Sometimes i do have veggies or fruits without the peel Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  21. I'm trying my best to be strong and patient. Before surgery I though i'd be loosing much faster, but I guess my body did't agree with me. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  22. From my experience I can say it could be low iron/ anemia. I was slightly anemic after surgery. I am 6 weeks post up and each week I just feel worse more tired, lazy, a bit light headed at times even if i'm doing fine with Protein, Water, and Vitamins. I have my 6 weeks post up this Thursday and will ask my surgeon to do blood work just incase. If you keep feeling like that I suggest you do the same. It's better to be precocious ???? 23. If you all remember I had a stall for 3 weeks. I started loosing again on week 4 lost. Lost 7 more pounds in about 5 days after the stall. Now i'm about to be 6 weeks post up tomorrow. I weighed myself Monday and since I saw the scale has not moved weighed myself today. I guess I am stalled again. Today I weighed +2 pounds. Why this this stall happen so soon after the last one?? Are they usually this frequent? Has anyone else gotten them this frequent? I'd appreciate any advise on this Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
