Does anyone own a Fitbit?

Hey guys! I wanted to hop on here to ask if anyone out there has a Fitbit or something along those lines. I'm interested in purchasing one but have seen mixed reviews.

If so, what kind of device do you have and what's your experience with it? Any recommendations?

Thanks!!

Ok, so my cousin just helped me fix the infalted steps issue. She had me switch the "handedness" option to my left hand, even though I am right handed, but wear the fitbit on my left. She said that if it's on your non dominant hand, it will inflate steps since you don't use that arm as much, but if its on your dominant hand, it won't since thats the hand that naturally moves more. I proved this to be true while we were walking today and I had my app out, and it was much more accurate! So try switching the handedness to whichever hand you are wearing your fitbit on and see if that helps. It helped me.

My only wish is that it was completely waterproof.

Looking at getting something as well and heard that Fitbit is so so :( looking at a Jawbone Up2, doesn't do heart rate but that's ok I guess...

If you want a heart rate sensor, the Up 3 and Up 4 both have it.

For anyone who doesn't have a fitbit yet, but has wanted just a basic one as an intro-- I went to BJ's today and the flex is on sale! I bought my fitbit flex there last August-- it was $94 and came with 3 large bands and one small one (red, black, green, and small black).. the exact same one with the bonus bands is on sale for $46 or $49-- I forget which.. but wow! Great deal either way! I bought a set for my father today to give him for his birthday. Hubby is getting my flex, and I upgraded today to the Alta. I love the sleek look of it.. didn't really care about a heart rate monitor.. and I love that it just asked me if I want to go for a stroll lol.

Yes I have one but I bough it several years ago. If I was on the market for anything now, I would just go for the Apple Watch (assuming that you have an iPhone)
