Thanks! 6 months total from the start of my preop diet till I reached surgeon's goal. My personal goal is normal BMI, so another 10 pounds. I find excercise very boring so the only formal exercise I've done is riding my recumbent bike 20-25 min 3-4 times/week over the last 2 months. I can do that and watch TV at the same time. Haven't been to a gym in at least 6 years....used to do Curves. My life is my real excercise....I am a vet tech so a I am basically doing Pilates and squats and "lifting weights" all day long. I also have horses, and just last week had to unload and stack a ton and a half of hay (literally....50 bales that weighed 80# each)

I saw a therapist who specializes in eating disorders
I tried to have a true balanced diet with mostly Protein but did eat whatever I wanted nothing was off limits I just tried to focus on organic natural real foods
And tried to. It be hard on myself
I also logged daily on MFP (my fitness pal) whether I'd had 100 cals that day or 3000
In the past month I've turned to more plant based/vegan type diet - not fir weightloss nessisarily tho it was more of a spiritual new direction in my life type thing
Always love yourself your not perfect and u will have slight ups and downs on the scale but it will go back down
