Is it normal

To not lose any weight the first week post op? I had my surgery 05/24 and have lost maybe a pound but it fluctuates. I'm getting all of my fluids in.

My doc didn't say anything about weight loss in the first week. I was sleeved on 5/23 and don't plan on weighing myself til my first post op visit. I would think in the first week it would fluctuate from all the fluids being pumped during surgery and hospital stay.

Yes it's completely normal, you are full of fluids and your body is healing. Do not worry, the weight will come off.

My doc didn't even weigh me at the first post op visit.

I hopped on the scale one week post op. And it showed the exact same weight as surgery day. I called the NUT and she said that is normal. They were pumping me full of liquids through the IV in the hospital and it takes a while for all that to clear out. She was right. Don't worry, you will be fine! (and stay off the scale for a few weeks)
