Yes, that pic is from July. Thanks! I have all these baby hairs coming in I'm ready for them to be grown out haha. I'm in Tennessee and I would be the same! The summers are too hot to think about wigs Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Does your hair ever come back to normal?
My hair is starting to come back, but my hair stylist said it won't even be as think as it was pre op. I used to want thinner hair now I really miss the thickness. But it saves me time in the mornings! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Skinny people problems
I had some of these! What got me is when I went to Disney and my spine hurt so bad from all the plastic seats on rides! I told my (insanely skinny) bff and she was like see there are cons to being skinny, but it's better than the alternative. And she was right!

Ten months out.......tried some Diet Pepsi.......
I tried soda after my surgery (a doctor ordered me too on 2 separate occasions) I could only take 2 sips before I felt.weird and bloated. I'm glad I felt that way because there have been times that all I want is a big ole coke. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Umm, how do you tell your daughter she might need this?
I wish my mom supported my WLS sooner. I know I would have been upset though if out of the blue she said I needed it. I knew she had it when I was 16. But I'm glad I had it at 23, just wish I had done it when I was 18 or so. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Advice on nutrition when flying 2 weeks post-op
I've heard you can take pre made shakes if it's medically necessary (not positive though) might want to get your dr to write a note for it. Yogurt is usually easily found, so you can always buy some when you get to your destination. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Advice on nutrition when flying 2 weeks post-op
I didn't travel that soon after surgery, but when I do I bring Protein bars just in case. I would take Protein Powder if I were in your shoes. What stage are you on? You could always get canned tuna, but you might not be that far along. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

2 weeks post-op Feel like I can eat anything!
I was the same way. I did have vomiting, but in the hospital from the anesthesia. I felt I could eat and drink way more than I needed. A few weeks/months into it it got better. I still feel like I can eat more than I need. I was worried for the longest time that my doctor didn't actually do the surgery. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

sleeping was something I had to get used to because of becoming boney. You'll eventually find what works. Like above I sleep with lots of pillows that I can use between legs Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
