Losing too fast?
Well, I jinxed myself. I've been in a stall for 5 days. That's what I get for being too optimistic! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Is it normal
Yes it's completely normal, you are full of fluids and your body is healing. Do not worry, the weight will come off.

Losing too fast?
I started my prediet mid April and had my surgery on May 2nd. I am down close to 54 lbs and I am losing an average of over a lb a day. I'm 6'0" and was 312lbs at the start of this journey. My target is to lose a little over 100lbs. I have been exercising regularly and eating very clean following my program exactly as my doctor asked me to. I'm not complaining but it seems like it's coming off too fast at this point.. is this normal?

Day 2 post op
Ditto. Don't stop sipping and walk as much as you can. Try to get 50+ grams of Protein through shakes if you can. It will be difficult the first few days. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

What does the Psychologist ask you about?
That was the easiest part of my pre-op appointments. I went in to see the psychologist. He literally ask me if I was nuts. I said no. We chatted for a bit then he wrote me a letter for my insurance. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

How long before I feel good?
Are you having any Protein? I've been having about 40 ounces of Powerade zero and about 300 calories or protein daily and I've been feeling pretty good. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Blood thinners
Was anyone prescribed blood thinners after surgery to prevent clots? I was only prescribed liquid Tylenol with codeine and Nexium. My GF was concerned about clots. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Finally in the post op side!
I was 5/2 also and I'm also in South Jersey. I have been tired all week and have only been able to drink 1 Protein drink a day. I'm getting about 32oz of Water in daily but it has been hard. I do feel a little better every day.

TOMORROW IS THE DAY!
I've been heavy all of my life, I've had periods where I've dropped a lot of weight doing Weight Watchers and tons of exercise. The problem is that the weight always piled back on. I started my journey towards WLS (sleeve) September of 2015. After countless Doctor Appointments, a sleep study, endoscopy and fighting with my insurance I am finally hitting the surgery table tomorrow at 1:30PM. I'm kind of freaking out tonight. I'm second guessing my decision as this is a major major game changer. I know I will still go through with the procedure as I know I will be heading towards serious health problems if I don't make this change. Please wish me luck.

Pre Diet - it's been easy so far.
I'm on day 10 now and sooooo tempted to cheat but I'm not giving in. I still feel pretty good. I just want to chew on something substantial. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Pre Diet - it's been easy so far.
I started my pre diet exactly one week ago. I'm allowed 3 Protein shakes a day, broth, sugar free ice pops and sugar free Jello. The first two days were pretty bad, I was sluggish and couldn't concentrate. I have to admit it's been relatively easy the rest of the way. My energy levels are through the roof and I've lost 12 pounds in a week. I guess I'm lucky.. getting sleeved on 5/2.
