My mom said she didn't really purer she just chewed it for a very long time . One little piece at a time . My surgery is next week and idk how purée is going to go for me I feel like it would make me

I was never told to do puree, just soft food. At two weeks I had no problem with soft foods like canned tuna, avocado, eggs, etc. But if you are in doubt consult your nutritionist

It's recommended you purée it since your body may not digest soft solid food that easy during your recovery period. . Follow your guidelines in order to succeed .

So I am 6 days out from my surgery doing absolutely great. In about 8 days I am going to start the next stage which is soft food/puréed. My question to you is do I really need to purée the food or can I just make sure it's nice and soft and chew it really well?
