So excited and nervous! Is anyone else having surgery on my date? I would like us all in one thread to give our own experiences. It'll be great! We will all be in pain at the same time. [emoji1]

Still vomiting anywhere from 2- 7 times a day, have tried to eat maybe 3 times since surgery but came right back up, even Water comes right back up, I'm on 2 different meds to try and stop it, but don't seem to help, have a pain in my left side but I think it's from getting sick so much, it's hard for me to do little things I get tired pretty fast and have to rest, showers really wear me out...if not better by 2morrow I'm calling surgeon office....but I'm super happy to hear some of u r doing so good...I'm hoping I will b there soon...the others that r having problems sorry to hear I hope it gets better soon.

No fever I had chills like in my body if that makes sense...I hope you do not have them...does ur pain go across your abdomen into your chest?

My pain is just in my abdomen. I couldn't sleep last night because the pain kept me awake! How long do you have to be in the hospital?

Lindsey I'm still here I've been here since Friday looks like tomorrow I'll possibly be going home

@yescres07...I have two blood clots possibly a third in my lungs???? I am being admitted now. I am sad but thankfully I came into the hospital instead of waiting to long. This sucks but at least it is not a leak.

I was required to give myself lovenox shots every day for two weeks after being discharged to avoid blood clots. Just curious, did you ladies not receive a like medication, or did you develop clots despite the medicine? I certainly feel for you all!

No the only gave them to me during my hospital stay. Did you give them to yourself in the stomach?

Yes, I received a prescription for 14 prefilled syringes and had to give myself a shot in the stomach once a day. Not enjoyable, but after listening to your stories, I'm quite happy I did!

@"lindsey skinner abbott" and @"yescres07" so sorry you two have had to go through this. Did your surgeon put you on any blood thinners. I was taking Coumadin for 2 1/2 weeks post op.

I have to do that, too. The hospital gave me three syringes and my GP prescribed another ten. Still giving myself injections.

I had the same no worries once they give u heparin you will be safe it gets frustrating but better to be monitored than not safe. I'm here if you need any support or questions don't hesitate to ask me prayers for you ❤️

Hello Ladies, i am sorry to hear about the blood clot issues that a few of you have been experiencing. I hope that you all get better soon!

How long did it take your abdominal pain to fade? It totally sucks! I am on moraphine and it still aches!
