How are post-op folks sleeping?

I can nap when I take my pain meds and I fall asleep right away at night, but then I wake up around 1:30am and I'm up about once an hour all night long...

Other than the sleep issue I'm doing really well but I miss sleeping through the night.

I wake up a lot when I'm trying to sleep. I'm a mover in my sleep which is not great post op. I'll change positions and wake myself up from the twinge of pain.

Ugh... Me too. Having the body pillow has helped but at this point I'm getting sleep when it comes - day or night.

I am 7 days post opp and pretty much all the pain went away just some soreness! I really dont feel any restriction, do you guys have restriction? I am also so sick of protein drinks!!!!

Roux en Y on June 13!

I seem to have developed an issue with lactose now. Fun.

@@Anilyn I'm sorry to hear that. How were you able to pinpoint the lactose intolerance? I had a rough night last night and I can't tell if I'm dealing with lactose intolerance or extra bile....

Will be calling my clinic the second it opens tomorrow.

@@JenniferPenelope Well, I had pain Friday night while sleeping and the last thing I ate a few hours before bed was greek yogurt. I ate 1/2 cup over an hour so it wasn't a matter of eating it quickly.

Then yesterday for lunch I had some oatmeal with a bunch of milk. It was really watered down. While I may have eaten it too quickly, based on the night before the common denominator is lactose. I had eaten oatmeal Friday with much less milk and it didn't bother me.
