I have a hard time with the milky shakes during my liquid diet stage. I'm going to get some of the lsopure protein drinks. A lot of people are drinking those post op. That might me easier to get down.

Thanks. The hospital ended up giving me something called unjury which was better but I'm just not a happy camper this early into it. I get my drain removed tomorrow. Not looking forward to that either.

My surgery was 6/7 - so 3 1/2 weeks out.

All pain is gone - I'm starting to eat soft foods and down 26 pounds.

Please hang in there, it does get better!

@@jannet41, I had gastric bypass. I am also a lightweight - my original BMI was 35 and I am 64, so this is a much bigger loss than anyone expected. Now the goal is to continue losing and then maintain - the scariest part!
