3 days since surgery

Finally stopped vomiting. Gas pains are rough, feels like my stomach/chest may explode at times. Struggling to get in my water/protein but I'm doing my best. I've had zero appetite. Feeling pretty sore, but a little better than I have been. I'm ready to feel "normal" again.

Give yourself some time to heal. You should be feeling a bit better each day. Getting in your fluids and Protein will get easier, too. Hang in there!

I bought some yesterday and I'm hoping they'll start making a difference soon. I had to apologize to my Mom. I said "I'm sorry Mom, but if I have an opportunity to pass this gas, I'm going to take it"

Walking helps with the gas pain too. Its so counter-intuitive, because when you are miserable, the last thing you want to do is get up and move around. But it really does help!

As far as the gas pains, they are gone. I'm pretty easily able to get in my Water and Protein. Monday I get to introduce bananas, applesauce and Peanut Butter to my diet. So far I've stuck with just liquids. I am having a bad pain in my left rib when I breathe in but I'm not sure it's related.
