Had GBSx on 7/14. Have followed the doc's plan (almost) to the letter. And in everything else my recovery is going great, however I am still experiencing diarrhea every day, mostly in the mornings. Is this a normal part of the recovery process?

I had diarrhea for the 1st few days after my VSG surgery. Eventually it did stop. I would call the doctor to make sure.

Yes, that's what I experienced, too. I hate to say it, but enjoy it, because it won't be long before you come here complaining of extreme constipation!!

Yup me too and now I worry about when/how/where I can go!

I had it for the whole time I Was on a liquid diet after surgery. It didn't get better for about 3 weeks. No fun. ????
