  2. There is a woman on here with the name Jamie logic (i think that's the spelling). She had tummy tuck, regained the weight and had sleeve some years later. She is happy with her stomach still (i believe). Look her up.
  3. Can't see the photos only two of them
  4. Your profile pic look great! What was the cost for your procedures? Do you have before and after pics?
  5. Congratulations! You look great! I just had my 1 year anniversary too. Sadly, I didn't make my goal....27 lbs Away. I feel like I can eat way too much now. How many ounces do you eat now? Do you weigh or measure your food...still confused about that.
  6. Hi, I was sleeved Feb. 23rd 2016 and have had very slow progress too. Lost 62 lbs since sleeve and 70 since January 2017.
  7. I had trouble getting the Protein in at the beginning also. I couldn't do Protein shakes (they made me too full). Instead, I use

  10. I'm so glad I did it to. I'm down 58 lbs (52 since surgery). I'm losing slow but not shocked as I can eat more (than I think I should), and while not stuffing myself...not enough veggies and too much sugar. I have been exercising about half the time I probably can eat about half of what I could before. Grateful, but I thought I would be able to eat much less. I'm down from an 18/20 to a solid 14 i. Clothes, much happier with that. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  11. Hi, I'm 5 months out. How have things been for you? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  12. So beautiful! You look so fit and very happy!
  13. Congratulations on the weight loss! I have been losing hair too (it's pretty common unfortunately). Go combat jt, I have increased my protein to a minimum of 80 grams (usually closer to 90-100), also take Nature Made dissolving Biotin & Vitamin C (from walmart),my Vitamins, and I just got a B-12 shot. Some people also suggest using biotin shampoo. As far aa the weight loss, I have lost 46 lbs and my surgeon said that's a good loss. It seems we are all around 40-50 lb. I too have hit a hard stall, but I think my calories are to high, and my carbs. Also, I haven't been working for a while. Maybe take a look at those things, and just keep the faith! 16. Hello All, Hope everyone is well. I'm doing OK....down about 46 lbs. I am very grateful to be thinner, and to finally have clothes to wear. However, I feel like I can eat WAY too much, and I am hungry all the time (for being this early out). I had concerns that my surgeon left my stomach too big from the start, and I'm struggling to keep my calories down. This wasn't something I expected. I guess I am one of the ones that never gets the break from constant hunger, and I kind of feel like it's back to the dieting days. The good news is, at least I'm not gaining weight and I have lost. I just fear what it will be like in 8 months, if it's this hard now. How are you all doing? How is the weight loss and food (calories going?
  17. BEAUTIFUL! Congratulations on the weight loss!

  22. My husband was very unhappy with my weight and at the same time...TOTALLY against the surgery. I am 7 1/2 weeks post op...and I am SO glad I had the sleeve. It was not an easy 2 months for me, but to begin to feel lighter and better in my body...is priceless. My husband is very happy with the results, even though he still won't admit it was a good choice to have surgery. He feels that diet and exercise with self control should be all you need (even though he has a perfect body and never struggled with weight). I have had to diet and exercise A LOT for the weight to come off (and always will have to, even with a sleeve). The only people who say it's the easy way out, are those who haven't gone through it. By the time I had surgery, I had struggled for 20 years gaining and losing. Never keeping it off. I did it for myself, and my health. So glad I did. Pray about what's right for you. 23. Oh my! I'm so glad you're OK. Have you had a seizure before? Was it solely from not drinking Water? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App @@Bluesky1 I've never had a seizure before, I guess there's a first time for everything! I just hope it never happens again Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk I'm sure it was scary. Hopefully you're getting more water in. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  25. Hey All, Glad everyone's moving along. I have definitely stalled and it's got me down...lost 31 lbs (and scale hasn't really moved for a week). I know this is normal, but I didn't want to be a slow loser. Could be feeling down from hormones (just stared on Estrogen patch because of Hysterectomy ). I'm also super tired. I started walking for 1/2 hour and weights for 15-20 minutes a day last week (started walking 3 weeks ago). The eating and drinking has been rough too, I'm getting my goal Protein and Water...but don't eat vegetables or too much else, because I'm trying to get my protein in. I also have a tough time getting my calories up (usually between 650 and 850 with great effort), not really sure how many I should be having. I can easily eat a 1/2 cup at a time (and could even eat more)...this concerns me, so early on. Sorry to be a Debby Downer...but this has been a rough few weeks.
