8-10 lbs per month is what I usually lost after the first month. Y'all are crazy with your expectations. ETA: I was no lightweight, I started with a 59.9 BMI.

Sounds to me like you are doing great. The scale is trending downward. You had a higher starting weight than me but you are killing me in weight loss. At two months post-op I was "only" down 22 pounds

My monthly weight loss is in my signature.

Hello, I had my surgery done on 12/29. My starting weight was 340, and my weight on the day of surgery was 327. It's been about two months, and I've only lost about 44 more pounds, and only lost 15 of that in the past month. I'm down about 54 lbs all together, at 284 right now. Is this good? I've been stalling pretty heavily since January, is this normal? I feel discouraged because sometimes I won't lose anything for like 2 weeks at a time and even then it's only a few lbs. Needing some encouragement.
