I started on nuts at about four months post-op. I gravitate toward the more healthful nuts such as cashews, walnuts, almonds. I definitely limit the portion size and chew them really well.

I agree with everyone else. Nuts are a great source of protein and healthy fats. You just have to watch portions. And, since the texture is so rough, make sure you are cleared for nuts (and seeds) bef

@@Rdsegobia it depends on the nuts and what else I am going to eat that day, but usually 20 - 25 grams.

I was just wondering what is everyone's opinion on nuts in general. I'm not sure if I should be eating them frequently since they have lots of fat even though is good fat????
